When you have found a product that you would like to purchase online, you can email me directly at amy@frenchpapers.com to place the order and I will take care of it for you. The only exception is for my vendor Ivy and Anchor, where you can buy directly from the site.
In 1968, French Papers was founded by mother, Jeanne Hindsley. She visited people in their homes throughout the North Shore of Chicago and brought beautifully crafted and detailed products. I always loved the monogrammed stationery and personalized gifts she so expertly sold, so when in 1994 my mom was ready to retire, I jumped at the chance of taking over the company. I have since continued her legacy of seeing people in the privacy of their own homes.
The products that I sell at French Papers range from stationery and wedding invitations to personalized jewelry, trays, and bags. I am always looking for fresh, new gifts for my clients but continue to offer popular items that I have carried for years.
The items my clients purchase are given to friends and family across the country—expanding French Papers’ reach well out of the North Shore. People started inquiring about how they could buy these gifts for their loved ones if they didn’t live in the Chicago land area, so I decided that I needed to have a website…so you could do just that!
